Soccer
The funny thing about these pictures is that you'd think she's a soccer superstar from looking at them...but our participation level is fairly low right now. She LOVES playing soccer and has a great time playing at home and before the actual practices or games begin (and hey, I'm biased, but I think she's fairly good...dribbles and kicks with accuracy!) but as soon as the organization begins, she's out and on the sidelines. In her defense, though, for our first official 'game', only three kids stayed on the field the entire time...the rest were right there on the sidelines with us eating snacks :)

First Dentist Visit
Okay, so I know I'm way behind in updates....like "this dentist visit was in December" behind...so I apologize. Would like to say I promise to be better, but with another little one on the way, I'm not so sure I'll fulfill that promise...so I'll do my best (I'm thinking maybe only 3 or 4 people actually check out the blog anyways, right?) So anyways, this visit went WAAAAY better than I expected....she did great! Let the hygenist clean her teeth and the dentist count them and everything....

I Blame You, Barbie
So I know I'm missing the big Christmas post, but I promise I'll get there eventually...But this post I've reserved for one of our more popular Christmas presents this year - Barbie...more specifically, Barbie clothes. (I think we've changed barbie, barbie, rapunzel, belle, and snow white's 'barbie' clothes an average of three times a day over the last few weeks). Which leads me to what I think is an important question....WHY do all of Barbie's clothes AND SHOES look like she's about to head out into a 'not so innocent' adventure? seriously?! I'm thinking I might have a new million-dollar idea with a 'less-revealing' line of Barbie clothes...if only I could sew as well as the Three Sisterz...ah, dare to dream. Well, anyways, back to the post....I'm expressly blaming Barbie and her Barbie clothes for our latest shopping adventure:
She literally picked out EVERY stiletto heeled shoe to try on...I'm just sayin'...this didn't happen before we had all those Barbie clothes/shoes...

Happy Birthday!
I can't believe she is already THREE! Time is flying by. We had an OUTSTANDING time at teh Midlothian Romp n' Roll this year (highly recommend it if you are looking to do a kids party - they are great!) Much to my surprise, Sofia really came out of her shell and had a good time being in the spotlight. See for yourself:

Halloween 2010
Well, it finally came...Halloween. Sofia has been 'practicing' for weeks and weeks now by wearing her snow white dress every day after school. She couldn't have been more excited...and to make it extra special, Grandma came over early on Halloween day to do Sofia's...er, I mean Snow White's makeup:

With a 'light up' fairy princess wand to boot...

enjoying some of her candy loot...

Oh, and almost forgot. I decided at the last minute to try my hands at these 'cake pop' things I've been reading so much about. Had stumbled across the Pioneer Womans blog tutorial here and wanted to copy. The turned out a little less attractive than I would've liked (I'm not a pro decorator, yet) but they were actually pretty cute. I like the purple people eaters best (and yes, those are my 'Smarty Pants' in the background...hey, it was a quick/easy/cheap costume for me to wear to work on Friday - and it got a lot of laughs)
