Prima Ballerina

Sofia is taking Kinderdance classes at daycare, so I had to sneak over today to see for myself how it was going since I've heard nothing but positive things so far. It doesn't get much cuter than this (two videos and a picture below)...

Blog-fully challenged

I find it hard to be consistent with my blog posts, so there are more than a few posts that follow below....better late than never!

Women in Architecture

Apparently, somebody has already decided to follow in her dad's footsteps and become an architect. I think she's getting a nice jump start on her education by reading Rob's collection of architecture books.

Check this out!

I may not have mentioned on this blog before, but Sofia has been quite adamant against wearing dresses, tights, and boots (even though mommy thinks it's a darn cute look). Thanks to our good friends' hand-me-downs we have LOTS of these (dresses/jumpers). Well, out of the blue the other week, Sofia decided she was ready.....not once, not twice, but three times! And I have the pictures to prove it...
And she even looks happy about it!

Valentine's Day

Tallying up all my Valentine's loot...
And then kickin' back on her big, purple hippo chair (her name is Hazel, in case you are wondering) to enjoy the chocolate. You may notice two bandaids (one on each leg)...this is her new obsession. She must have two bandaids on at all times...one on each leg. It's an expensive and painful (pulling those things off every night) fashion statement, but she is dedicated to making it...

Dad's Birthday

Sofia did a great job celebrating her dad's birthday in style this year by making a homemade card and homemade (out of the box) cupcakes. We actually didn't mind being cooped up in the house (snow...again!) b/c we had so much fun baking and creating. And eating the cupcakes wasn't half bad, either!

Okay, and a snow family pictures just to prove how much it's been snowing lately:
